Volunteer positions or jobs
Administrative Help:
Coordinate volunteers, Type letters, File documents, Research grant foundations, Write grants, and any other administrative gifts would be appreciated.
Ladies Auxillary
Team Leaders:
Supervise team volunteers. Oversee Set-up, Greeters, Table servers, all clean-up and be responsible for closing Fellowship Hall.
Work Hours: 12-7:30 PM.
Shoppers:
Pick-up purchased food and food donations:
Work Hours: When Needed/flexible.
Kitchen Manager:
In charge of all cooks and supervises all kitchen activities including kitchen clean-up.
Work Hours: 12:30 -7:30 PM.
Cooks:
Take charge of kitchen and prepare meals; assign jobs to food preparers as needed.
Duty Hours: 1-6:30 PM
Food and Dessert Prep:Assist cooks as needed. Clean stove.
Work Hours: 3-6:30 PM.
Beverage setup and Servers: Prepare beverages, fill cups, and serve filled beverage cups to Table servers. Clean up serving station.
Work Hours: 4 - 7:00 PM
Dishwashers and Kitchen Clean-up | Need dishwashers & clean-up crew for all locations
Wash dishes, pots, and pans. Clean-up and mop floors.
Work Hours: 5:30:-7:30 PM
Kitchen Line Servers: Serve food and drinks to guest table servers. Clean up serving area.
Work Hours: 4:30-7:30 PM
Table Set-up: Arrange tables and chairs. Put placemats, plastic ware, napkins, flowers, prayer cards, and other flyers on tables.
Work Hours: 3-4:30 PM.
Greeters: Greet and sign-in guests. Explain how they are to be served and direct them to tables.
Work Hours: 4:30-6:30 PM.
Music/Entertainers: Play piano or other instruments during meal.
Work Hours: 5-6:30 PM.
Table Servers | We currently have an abundance of servers for Monday services in PSL – please consider joining the clean-up crew or serving @ First Bethel Baptist or we will gladly add you to the substitute list and call “as needed”. Thank you for you interest.
Serve drinks, dinner and desserts to guests: After guest have finished their meal: clear table, sanitize tables and chairs, set-up for next guest, and help clean-up crew if needed.
Work Hours: 4:30-7 PM
Clean-up Hall | Need clean-up crew for all locations
Clean-up Fellowship Hall, empty garbage cans into dumpster, put plastic bags into garbage cans, and clean tables and chairs.
Work Hours: 6-7:30 PM.
Laundry | Need laundry assistance for all locations
Launder all soiled aprons, towels, etc. Pick-up 7:30 PM or next day and return them before the next meal.
